We offer two different paths to a new website: a ready-made website template for your industry, or a site built from scratch, fully custom. We built both ourselves, so we know exactly where the line between them sits — and that's exactly what this article is about.
What our website template is
A template is a ready-made, professionally designed website for a specific industry — car repair, hairdressing, restaurants, massage studios and more — that we fill in with your copy, photos and contact details, then connect to your domain. It's not a generic tool like Wix or a WordPress theme from a marketplace — we designed and built every template ourselves, and you edit it yourself afterwards by clicking directly on the part of the page you want to change.
What a custom website is
A custom-built website is made from scratch to your exact requirements. Nothing in it is there just because a template happened to include it — and everything you specifically need is in there, including original graphic design, an SEO strategy built around your actual keywords, and Google Analytics integration.
When a template makes sense
A template is the right fit if you need a professional website fast, without a large budget, and your industry is among our templates. This is typically the case for small local businesses — tradespeople, personal-service businesses, food and hospitality — where the website mainly needs to look trustworthy, show your services and pricing, and make it easy to get in touch. Before deciding, you can browse a template live and try editing it yourself right in your browser, to see exactly how easy our admin panel is to use.
What's included with a template
Setup is a one-time fee from €159 — we pick the template, add your content and photos, and connect your domain. On top of that, hosting and admin access run €20 a year, less than a single month of a Wix or Squarespace subscription. We manage the hosting end-to-end, but you can change text, colors and fonts yourself, any time, with no code and no waiting on us.
What's not included with a template
Templates are a fast, affordable option precisely because they don't include original graphic design, an SEO strategy, or Google Analytics setup. The design is shared with everyone who picks the same template in the same industry — only the colors, fonts and content differ, not the underlying page structure. If those things matter to you, or your needs outgrow what a template can do, that's the point where a custom build makes more sense.
When a custom website pays off
Once you want your website to genuinely set you apart from competitors, need specific functionality (a booking system, a calculator, integration with your internal software), or your main goal is long-term growth through search engines, investing in a custom build pays off. It comes with original design built around your brand, SEO optimization from the ground up, and Google Analytics integration so you can see what's actually working.
How to decide
Ask yourself: do I mainly need a website to exist and look professional — or should it be an active growth tool that sets me apart and brings in customers through search? In the first case, our template saves you time and money. In the second, a custom-built website pays for itself. And if you're not sure, just reach out — we're happy to tell you which one actually makes more sense for you.
