BitB Spins is a poker academy bringing together experienced coaches who help players reach a professional level. Their previous website was built by another agency – it looked fine, but the client had no real access to it. Every small change, new lesson, price update, or coach profile edit meant contacting the agency and paying for it, even for a few lines of text.
So the goal wasn't just a new look – it was a website the BitB Spins team could actually maintain themselves, without depending on someone else or paying recurring invoices for minor edits.
I fully migrated the site to a new Elementor-based theme – the BitB Spins team already works in Elementor day to day, so instead of moving them to custom code, I chose a solution that stays entirely in their hands. They can now edit copy, add coaches, update lesson pricing, and publish news themselves, without waiting on an agency or paying for every small change.
Alongside the migration, I redesigned the site visually from the ground up – from the homepage to individual coach pages – to better reflect what the academy actually offers today.
For performance, I set up cron-based cache warming along with a set of optimization plugins that keep the site responsive under normal traffic on Elementor.
BitB Spins now runs the site themselves – adding new lessons, updating pricing, and managing coach profiles without outside help or waiting on an agency. The site is also faster and more stable under normal traffic thanks to the caching setup – and every payment they used to send an agency for a small edit, they now just keep.
